Chrysler’s new Interior Design degree is a new way for the automaker to sharpen its design skills, according to T-Mo.
The new degree will allow students to focus on the interior design process, which involves creating a custom-built model for the customer.
“The interior design program is designed to help students develop and refine their skills in the design of premium, premium-quality vehicles,” the automakers statement said.
“In addition, the program offers students the opportunity to interact with customers in an informal, non-competitive environment to understand and engage with their desires.”
The degree is available to students across the U.S., and is being offered online.
Students can choose from three different programs: interior design, interior design courses, or interior design and design solutions.
The interior design programs will also include two graduate-level courses, which will focus on a specific theme.
The Chrysler 300 is currently available with an interior design design degree.
“We are excited to offer students the option of graduating with the interior designing degree, and we are looking forward to working with them to take that next step,” said Jeffery Whelan, vice president of design and automotive marketing for Chrysler.
“As we have said for a long time, the interior designs industry is the most creative and innovative one, and it is important that our students have access to the latest innovations in interior design,” Whelans said in a statement.
“This degree will provide students with a solid foundation in the field, and will allow them to become a leader in the industry.”
