This is the interior staircase railings that are being removed from the exterior of the White Hall, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
The staircase railers, which were designed to be used for storage, were recently removed.
The stairs were originally constructed in 1912.
The stairs will now be stored in the basement of the residence and the exterior staircase will be converted into a security entrance.
The White House is currently undergoing a complete renovation to make it more accessible to the public, including adding elevators and changing the signage on the White house.
